The discussion will focus on inclusive books, representation, and how to get involved with inclusive Book Advocacy at The Westfield Memorial Library.

Historian and lecturer Joel Farkas, Tuesday, March 26 at 7 p.m. at The Westfield Memorial Library. Mr. Farkas will talk about how men viewed women, the expectations of women, and the challenges of just being a woman in Revolutionary War times. He was an Officer in the United States Army and a National Park Service volunteer docent at Washington’s Headquarters, Morristown, NJ. Singers wanted. Singers from the community and nearby towns (including singers of high school age) are warmly invited to join the choir of St. Paul’s Church in a Steeple Concerts presentation of Beethoven’s masterpiece, “Missa Solemnis.” Rehearsals are on Monday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. beginning March 18 and run every week until the concert on Sunday, May 19 at 5 p.m. All rehearsals take place at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, located at 414 East Broad Street, Westfield.
