Open Rehearsal – Choral Art Society of New Jersey, one of the area’s leading choral organizations, is excited to welcome new singers. Those who can read music and have some singing experience are invited to attend open rehearsals on Tuesday, February 13 at 7:30 pm. Rehearsals are held in the Parish Hall Chapel of The Presbyterian Church in Westfield, 140 MountainAvenue, Westfield. Attending an open rehearsal is an opportunity to learn about the group, meet current members, and consider joining. No formal auditions are conducted. The February 6th rehearsal marks the start of preparations for the second concert of the chorus’s 2023/2024 Season.ScheduledforSaturday,May 4 the concert will feature works by The Brothers Haydn including the Lord Nelson Mass, Te Deum and Missa Brevis in C and will be performed with orchestra and professional soloists. If you love to sing, come sing with us!

The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, an ingenious and wildly comic farce by playwright John Bishop will be performed at CDC Theatre, 78 Winans Avenue, Cranford, weekends, February 9 to 24.
