Every point would be needed now that the unbeaten Westfield High School boys swim team dove into the brass tacks part of its season with a showdown at Wallace Pool in Westfield on January 19 against the Bergen Catholic (BC) Crusaders, whose only loss was to the Bridgewater-Raritan Panthers, 96-74. Although they touched first in just two individual events and won both free relays, the Blue Devil boys gathered enough second, third, fourth and fifth places to remain undefeated with a 93-77 victory.
