ALBANY, N.Y. — Marking the culmination of their hard work and success, the University atAlbany celebrated more than 4,200 students who recently received their degrees at the university’s 2023 Commencement ceremonies. This included Summer, Fall and Winter semester recipients from the 2022-2023 academic year. The following local residents were among the graduates.
Julianne Conforti of Clark, who graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cybersecurity.
Brandon Garcia of Fanwood, who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.
Olivia Cappo of Scotch Plains, who graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
