GARWOOD -- On November 18, over 30 volunteers – adults and students- from the Garwood Green Team (GGT), Borough residents, and Lincoln School joined together to complete the installation of the last 300feet of the 600-foot wood chip path connecting the Unami Park Center Street entrance with the park athletic fields in furtherance of the GGT’s Adopt-A-Park commitment. This 6foot wide path allows park walkers to traverse a dry path from this underused entrance through a wooded section of the park working its way through natural succession into the park proper. The Team completed the first half of the trail in the spring of 2023; it is now complete!
