During this week’s Town Council meeting, our mayor responded to what she called “misinformation” from the Republican candidates running for town council. Putting aside for a moment whether it is appropriate for our mayor to use her elected office to insert herself into the ongoing campaigns for town council, the comments she made were misleading and inaccurate. We, the Republicans candidates for town council, feel compelled to set the record straight as to what we have said and have not said during our campaigns and correct a number of inaccuracies conveyed by the mayor.
