Blue Devil Girls Rip Rahway, Eliz., Vikings for UCT Crown

The top-seeded Westfield High School girls volleyball team halted the eighth-seeded Rahway Indians, 25-6, 25-15, in the quarterfinal round of the Union County Tournament (UCT) at Westfield on October 16. On October 18, the Blue Devils ousted the fifthseeded Elizabeth Minutemen, 25-13, 25-22, in the semifinals to face the second-seeded Union CatholicVikings for the title on October 20 and emerged victorious, 25-17, 25-21, to repeat as UCT champions.
