Experts to Inform Rotary on Safeguarding New Drivers

WESTFIELD — Three local experts on traffic safety, personal-injury law and insurance will give a joint presentation to the Rotary Club of Westfield on Tuesday, October 17. The featured speakers will be Howard P. Lesnik, Esq.; Rich Reiner and Ralph Moskal.Thepresentationwilltakeplace at noon at Limáni Seafood Grill, located at 235 North Avenue West, Westfield. The event is open to Rotary members and anyone who wishes to attend. The lunch cost is $20.

Mr. Lesnik is a highly-regarded personal- injury lawyer with over 30 years of experience. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He also is a certified criminal trial attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey.HislawofficeisinMountainside.

Mr. Reiner is a licensed insurance broker with more than 20 years of experience. He is the owner of Reiner Insurance, located in Springfield, which provides a variety of insurance products.

Mr. Moskal is the president of Five Star Driving School, which has offices in Westfield and Summit. Five Star Driving School offers a variety of courses for new and experienced drivers.

Their presentation will focus on mitigating new-driver traffic-accident rates; accident statistics; safe-driving education, and what families need to know about their car-insurance policies to protect their family members.

“We are excited to bring these three experts together to present on this important topic,” said Brendan Bertsch, director of speakers for the Rotary Club of Westfield. “New drivers are at an increased risk of traffic accidents, so it is essential to provide them with the education and resources they need to stay safe on the road.”

Rotary is a non-profit organization that brings together a global network of volunteer leaders who dedicate their time and talent to tackle the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges. Rotary connects 1.2 million members from more than 200 countries and geographical areas. Rotary members connect with a diverse group of professionals who share the drive to give back to the community.

The Rotary Club of Westfield is involved with projects to address local hunger issues, help homeless veterans, collect used bicycles for the Third World, raise funds for Ukrainian refugees inEasternEurope,acceptexchange students from Brazil andAustralia, and provide scholarships to Westfield college students and community grants to other local organizations.
