FestiFall Canceled for First Time, See You At Spring Fling

The GWACC Chamber of Commerce, late Saturday evening, canceled FestiFall due to the continued forecast of severe inclement weather including thunder and lightning starting as early at 8 a.m. It was not an easy decision but one that had to be made for the safety of the attendees and the vendors.

We want to thank Chief Battiloro and all of the WFPD for their continued support and coordination of the event with GWACC. All of the Westfield departments need to be recognized for their efforts as well, the Westfield Fire Department, the Department of Public Works, the Health Department and the EMTs. We thank them for the preparations done in advance of the event that helps to make the event successful and safe. We want to thank and recognize the Mayor and Council and the Administrator for their assistance and approval and to the County for the permission to close a County Steet. In the past nine years, GWACC had never needed to cancel FestiFall. We regret that the community at large was not able to participate in a great fun filled family event that brings out thousands of attendees. We look forward to seeing you everyone at Spring Fling 2024.
