Swan Hotel Downs Linwood II In 60+ A Division Game 1, 11-4

Top-seeded Swan Hotel & Suites pitcher Doug Fischer proved his worth both offensively and defensively as well as being quite effective on the mound during the Union County Senior 60+ A Division semifinal Game 1 against fourth-seeded Linwood II at Memorial Field 3 in Linden on August 23. Fischer went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI, and made a pair of diving grabs that he converted to putouts as the Swanies downed Linwood II, 11-4.
