#5 St. Wolfgang 7, #1 St. George 0 Wednesday was a long day for topseeded St. George, as they were stymied by the stellar pitching of St. Wolfgang’s Lou Blau who scattered 10 hits over seven innings. Thanks to key hits from “The Ignitor” Paul Bifani and Ron “Squirt” Skwirut, Wolfgang held a 2-0 lead after the fifth inning. The Wolfpack broke out the bats, along with howls from the dugout, in the later innings to put the game away.
