NJFO’s Summer Fantasies Under the Stars Thrills
WESTFIELD – What does the word “fantasy” evoke? On a warm summer evening in late August at the backyard Hertell Gardens in Westfield, it meant a perfect night of symphonic instrumental music and a vocal master. The 250th presentation of the group with their “Summertime Folk Fantasies” delighted a packed crowd with music byAaron Copland, George Gershwin, and Frederick Delius.
