Josephine Ciliotta Heaven Has Gained An Angel

Heaven has gained the most beautiful angel.

Josephine Ciliotta passed away peacefully, in the same manner that she lived her entire life, at home, surrounded by her adoring family. She is now reunited with the great love of her life, Don, who predeceased her 12 years ago.

She never had a bad word to say about anyone and she was loved by all who knew her. She had the most giving heart and shared it with the world. She had a knack of always making people feel special and loved. She had many odd jobs throughout her life, but being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother were her greatest pleasures of all. She will forever be missed by all who knew her.

May she rest in peace. Josephine is survived by her four children, Carol (Kevin), Donald (Janet), Mark (Laurie) and Janice (Jeff); her nine grandchildren, Alison (Tommy), Erik, Kara (Shawn), Steve (Michele), Keith (Michelle), Brandon (Jamie), Benny (Lisa), Ryan (Jess) and Grace; her ten greatgrandchildren, Jackson, Knox, Brooks, Cole, Josephine, Alessia, Blake, Shawn, James and Sophia; her sister, Lorraine; her brother, Fred, and many loving nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends. She was laid to rest Saturday, August 5, 2023, at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, N.Y. Donations can be made in her honor to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
